Arsenal and Man United set to miss out on 23-year-old itallian superstar as player makes stunning u-turn

Dusan Vlahovic may continue at Juventus beyond 2026, which may disappoint teams like Arsenal and Manchester United.

According to Team Talk and Graeme Bailey, Dusan Vlahovic would like to stay at Juventus rather than pursue a move to the Premier League. Arsenal and Manchester United are among the clubs interested in the 23-year-old attacker, but their pursuit is likely to face a blow.

The speculation regarding Dusan Vlahovic joining the Premier League may be gone, as he may opt to stay with Juventus. The striker, 23, is under contract until 2026 and might negotiate new terms to prolong his stay beyond that date.

After nearly two years of chasing the striker, Juventus convinced him to join them from Fiorentina. The connection hasn’t worked out, with the 23-year-old striker proving unreliable since going to Turin.

Chelsea were interested in acquiring him in a part-exchange deal with Romelu Lukaku last summer, but the deal fell through. The Blues are still interested, as are many other great clubs, but Arsenal and Manchester United are also interested in the 23-year-old striker.

Arsenal have maintained their interest, as media reports suggest Mikel Arteta will sign a new striker in January. Vlahovic is the least expensive option associated with the Gunners.

Juventus has been contemplating a new contract for the striker, and Vlahovic is now willing to extend his stay in Turin. According to Graeme Bailey of Team Talk, the 23-year-old striker will remain in Italy. He is not interested in joining Arsenal or Manchester United.

There are several doubts regarding Manchester United’s alleged interest. Erik ten Hag desired a striker in the mold of Vlahovic, although he did sign Rasmus Hojlund in the summer. Both have a similar profile, and if the Red Devils were looking for a new frontman, they may consider a different type of striker.

Juventus may sell premium assets such as Vlahovic and Federico Chiesa. The money raised from these deals might have been used to rebuild their team, but the 23-year-old is not interested.
